Maplehurst Country Club first opened for play in 1934.
Maplehurst Country Club has three ponds that come into play on three holes. The tree-lined fairways are hilly enough to overlook the scenic Chautauqua Lake. The large greens are elevated and well bunkered.

The course is built on the top of a hill with holes going up/down and great views. I enjoy playing here but the 9hole price is too high for the real conditions of the course. The $25/18 and cart is not bad for the area during the week. The short drivable holes are very tricky on green placement and size, will give your wedges a workout. Yardage markers (100/150) are there but are only for referance. I've walked it before as the green to tee is very short BUT the hills will get to you if your not ready.

Short but tricky course with many sloped greens and gullies in play. Course is shorter than the scorecard indicates, more like 5700 yards, and no sand, but the hills and tricky green positions provide a resonable level of difficulty. Several driveable par 4's, but two of them (#5 and #11) are also very risky. Visually appealing course, due to both the trees and hills on the course, and the views of Chautauqua Lake. #12 very hard par 3, maybe a little unfair. Overall, a fun course that is well worth playing.
